Balance between good and cheap

If you do not care about details and don't have too much money to spend, this hotel is nice. first good aspect, it is near the center and restaurants, shops, bus station, the breakfast is simple, but nice and the staff are nice as well. bad this are, the staff doesn't clean the room every day, the shower is too small that you can not move inside... so take a shower is difficult and the air conditioning doesn't work.. but was cold and the blankets helped me to sleep, but even so i was cold during the night.

Irini wird von jahr zu jahr schlechter

Das irini wird von jahr zu jahr schlechter. bin mittlerweile das 5 mal dort gewesen. renoviert wird da nichts und alles ist sehr abgewohnt. das frühstück ist exakt dasselbe wir beim ersten besuch (ca. vor 10 jahren) und eigentlich nur gegen hunger zu benutzen. dusche ist schmuddelig, duschhalterung abgebrochen, brause spritzt in alle richtungen. duschbereich ist mini klein und man klebt ständig am schmuddeligen vorhang. die lage (mitten in heraklion) erfordert unbedingt ohrstöpsel, sonst ist an schlaf überhaupt nicht zu denken. (entweder fenster auf und laut oder fenster zu und schwitzen bzw. laut durch klimaanlage. allerdings lässt der preis auch keine hohen erwartungen zu. alles in allem für junge leute mit kleinem geldbeutel eben auch gerade wegen der zentralen lage für 1-2 übernachtungen denkbar. ansonsten eher nicht.

Hotel irini - heraklion

Attirati dal prezzo nella scelta dell hotel ed anche dal fatto che si trattava di una sola notte. decisamente non all altezza di un 3 stelle italiano. posizione infelice perche' molto nascosto nel cuore di heraklion e in una strada stretta e interrotta da lavori. non ci e' stato indicato un parcheggio per l auto che abbiamo dovuto lasciare per strada. camere e qualita' della colazione appena sufficienti. in sintesi siamo stati contenti di doverci fermare solo una notte.
