The americano is ideally situated right in the centre of the city. everything is in walking distance. however, being at the centre of things made it very noisy late at night, which we expected. what we did not expect was to be woken at six in the morning by the dustmen and the deliveries to the supermarket next door. the rooms were basic but - after all - we only wanted the room to sleep in! the balcony was nice to sit onthe breakfast was plentiful but after four days was getting a bit "samey" the staff were all helpful and friendly
