Exterior
This hotel used to be a house of colonial that was built since 1980s and used to belong to a distinguished family of Blitar. Being the oldest hotel in Indonesia, the hotel building appears as a beautiful East Javanese mansion from the Dutch colonial times with giant white-washed pillars, furniture from the late 19th century and the early 20th century, nostalgic photograps and elegant chandeliers. The building was carefully renovated to preserve its artistic, charismatic, and historical characters.
Rooms
Rooms are spacious dominated by romantic colors, large canopied bed and authentic East Javanese flair, with a beautiful outdoor bath and old terrazzo tiles. The Tugu Suite rooms are located in the main colonial building from the 1850s. Rooms feature air-condition, mini bar, hair dryer, slippers, international channels, in-room safe & direct dial telephone.
Restaurant
Breakfast is Indonesian traditional menu in a-la carte style. The restaurant has an exotic East Javanese atmosphere from the Dutch coonial era, characterized by giant white-washed pillars, furniture of the similar period, and candles every evening.
