An impressive looking building. the staff were courteous, efficient and friendly. it was very clean. location was good - about 10 minutes from the airport (by taxi on a main route (approx 22 euros) and an 8 - 10 minute walk from the hotel to the centre. buffet breakfast - with a very good choice. the decor needs updating.

This is my second visit to the grand and i would recommend it everytime, great value for money. rooms are tastefully decorated, with modern ensuites that are small but well positioned with all the amenities. the staff are very polite and helpful with assisting you with local services and places of interest in the surrounding areas. most of all i find the position of the hotel perfect, it is 10 minutes walk one way to the hub of verona (piazza bra and arena)and 10 minutes walk the other way to the station. from here venice is accessible in 1hr 30mins, lake garda 20 mins, other nice towns en route to venice like vicenza and padua and milan about 1hr 30mins in other direction.

A super hotel with great staff - nothing is too much trouble for them! breakfast choice is vast and wonderfully fresh.rooms very clean and elegant.only a 10 minute stroll to the arena.cannot fault this hotel, will certainly recommend it and would go there again!

Extremely well situated (and easy to reach from the motorway) just outside the walled part of the town,with an easy, short 10 minute walk to the arena for the opera,and ideally placed for exploring verona on foot. hotel has a garden, and is quiet on the garden side. good arrangement with nearby garage (only 20 metres beyond the hotel) and at reduced rates. very efficient service when we realised we'd left our passports in our room when we arrived at venice airport - couriered to us by taxi - expensive mistake on our part, but dealt with well by the hotel!

Travelled to verona for the weekend with my mother. the grand verona hotel was brilliant. would recommend it to others and would definately stay there again. great location, close to main attractions. staff very helpful, efficient and friendly. bathroom decent size with spacious shower. standard room - average size for european standards. breakfast - cold buffet on offer, again staff could not do enough for us. choice of food was adequate. overall i rate this hotel very high. you get what you pay for these days.

We spent a lovely 3 days at this hotel in verona which is perfectly situated in a quiet but main street between the station and medieval centre. it took 10 mins to walk from the station which was really handy and then another 5 mins to walk into the main centre and piazza. the hotel staff were helpful, room was lovely with a luxury feel, though no bath or balcony. however the breakfasts were fantastic and staff extremely helpful and friendly. i would definitely recommend it to friends and go back there in the future.
