Hotel satisfaction

My wife and i selected this hotel for its convenient location to chelsea and fulham where we had important family business. i selected it purely on the information available on line and, as it happened, the selection although "blind" turned out to be rewarding. not only did it turn out to be an excellent location to connect with services from victoria coach station but the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the english breakfasts were the best we have had in any london hotel. security was not too obvious but reassuring. we thought the price was acceptable.

Ibis earls court for wimbledon

We were going to wimbledon for the tennis on 01/07/14 and wanted to stay overnight. the route to the hotel from the m40/m25 is quite straightforward and the hotel is very close to the tube station (only 5 stops to southfields). there are some reasonable pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel for the evening. the hotel is therefore in a great location, but paying for car parking is always a bit annoying. the hotel is a bit tired and the rooms very basic, but for london, not too bad and the price is ok. the breakfast buffet is very good. for the purpose of our visit the htels ticks all the boxes and we would use it again.

Wimbledon weekend

Ideal base hotel for our wimbledon weekend being only a few tube stops from southfields. comfortable beds and a more than adequate breakfast. good value for a london hotel.

Birthday weekend

This was the second time we had stayed at the ibis earls court. for the price the hotel was great. this time breakfast was included and set us up for the day. katherine the breakfast host made everyone welcome and added a personal touch. the room was more than adequate and for a london hotel we found our room quiet. once we worked it out we found the location good west brompton tube station 5 minutes walk or more options from earls court 10 minutes away. good selection of pubs and restaurants 5 minutes away on old brompton road and more around earls court road area. a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back.

Nice hotel, but was overpriced for that weekend

The price of the room was almost double it's original price because of wimbledon. other than that everything was good. had great all you can eat breakfast.

Value for money hotel.

Hotel was adequate, check-in/out was efficient. reception area/bar/breakfast room very pleasant. breakfast very good, very good service clearing tables. bed seemed too big for a room that was quite small. not enough room for bedside table on both sides of bed. took drinks from bar up to room, quite disappointed that after housekeeping cleaning room - dirty glasses were left. one glass had chip on base - could cause injury if picked up by child. windows could have benefitted from net curtains as it was very possible to see right into adjoining rooms. hotel was adequate 3 star, car parking was essential reason for booking and proximity to underground. area quite seedy/run-down.

Good location but not so good

Hotel was in a great location but we weren't too impressed with the room,breakfast or dinner options. for breakfast the salad was a little brown one morning and hardly any fruit was on offer! in the bar the staff did not understand what "gluten free" meant and only offered vegetables to me ...very disappointing!!! they need to educate the staff and the chef ..at least to make an attempt to help the customer. the rooms was very warm so the ac was making noise but not working !!!

Weekend away

I was at an event in this hotel so decided to stay there for convenienve. you can't fault it as the room was clean and warm. i would ask for a romm away from the lift next time as that made quite a bit of noise. other than that i was happy with the hotel and the price i got from hotelclick.com

Ibis earls court - 2010

The ibis at earls court is not technically "earls court" but west brompton so don't be fooled by the name - i already knew this and was staying there due to its proximity to the exhibition centre. for events there the hotel is perfect. it has gotten a little shabby in recent years and the bathrooms could do with an update. also the lack of an iron in the rooms is a little unbelievable in this day and age - even though a quick call to the reception magicked one up really quickly, this should still be something that comes as standard in hotel room. otherwise all pretty average - nothing spectacular but always a good night's sleep! top tip, cooked breakfast is vile, stick to the cold continental!

Ibis earls court

Highly recommended venue and extremely competeive prices by booking through hotelsclick.com. i saved over £20 booking through this website as opposed to direct with the venue. room was extremely clean and tidy, great facilities, very peaceful and set within a superb location.

Ibis london earls court april 2009

Stale smell in room and corridors. only 1 bed side table, only 1 bin. only 1 towel each, no hand towels. had to ask for more. lack of tea bags. breakfast was disapointing, not much choice. toilet rolls were very poor quality and uncomfortable to use. felt ibis were feeling the credit crunch. kept awake by doors banging and people running around into early hours. no wifi.

Ideal for earls court

The hotel is typical of the ibis brand hotels in the uk. it is clean, functional and ideal for visiting the earls court exhibitions. coffee making facitilities, tv, hairdrier. check in was efficient, breakfast was organised into a room for continental or a room for english b'fasts. suited our requirements for the night as it was 4 minutes form west brompton tube line and hence into other parts of london very easily. only used for leisure so cannot comment really about business services offered by the hotel.
