No attitude to serve and help

The room in general was good. the problem was the attitude of the reception people to help in several issues. i wanted to print my boarding card because i had a problem and the gentleman denied the two solutions that i proposed him in order to print it. finally and without a very positive mood he accepted my third proposal and we printed it. during the check out i asked the lady to sign and stamp a paper that according to the bulgarian law i have to attached together with the invoice in order for the expense to be recognized. the lady replied that she has no stamp, she didn't make any effort at all to help and when i asked if there is anyone in the back office to help, she just said that there was nobody. she kept saying no. furthermore the breakfast was very bad and of course they charge the adaptor for the electricity.

6 dias en londres

El hotel está muy bien. la habitacion es espaciosa y cómoda. tiene amplia tv aunque sin canales en español. tienes wifi gratis en el hall y de pago en la habitación. el desayuno es justito especialmente en "salado"...,de dulce (croisanes, etc) está mejor. el transporte a londres de maravilla, en 15 minutos estabas allí con espera de los trenes máximo de 5 minutos. si te sacas la travelcard de 5 zonas (47 libras-1 semana en 2011)puedes usar todos los transoprtes publicos incluido el tranvía de croydon. los recepcionistas del hotel amables y eficaces. no tiene neverita pero en el hall hay una máquina de hielo gratis. recomiendo este hotel teniendo además muy buen precio(tipo español)

Great value

Just a short walk from the east croydon rail station, 24hrs service, we never had to wait long. rooms are not fancy and the beds pretty small, but ok. breakfast is partly hot, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, enough space for all the people to sit. arround is a shopping street with many major brands and couple of clubs for the young (as the hotel is set back from the road, you are hardly bothered by the noise).

Coppia aduta.

Hotel ben posizionato al centro di croydon, è 5 minuti dalla fermata delle ferrovie inglesi, stazione di east croydon, circa 20 minuti di treno per vittoria station a londra. l'albergo è molto pulito, il personale del ricevimento è cortese, ma non parla italiano. la colazione è sufficiente per gli italiani, meno per chi è abituato ad una colazione "all'inglese", ci sono più cose dolci. insomma è un hotel con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Sehr günstig

Wir haben ein zimmer gebucht insgesamt 3 pers. für 4 nächte in einem zimmer. es hat insgesamt nur 280 euro gekostet. die lage ist auch ok.

Ottimo

Il problema non e' recensire express by holiday inn di croydon che e'un ottimo albergo in cui mi trovo benissimo, ma il call center di hotelsclick, che fa attendere 10-20-30 minuti prima di rispondere o non risponde affatto specie nell'ultima ora di attivita'. il 23 fbbraio quando io cercavo di prenotare e' stata inserita la musichetta degli operatori tutti occupati per moltissimo tempo. poi c'e' problema della carta di credto che non funziona: possibile che si blocchi sempre. se il problema del call center fosse risolto hotelsclick sarebbe ottima compagnis di viaggi. staro' a londra ancora un mese e provero' ancora sperando di non avere problemi buona giornata

Gutes preis-leistungs-verhältnis

Das hotel liegt in der nähe der bahnstation east-croydon.diese ist vom hotel aus zu fuß in ca. 7 min. zu erreichen. das hotel hat uns von der ausstattung gut gefallen. das empfangspersonal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. das frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend, es wurde aber keinerlei wurstaufschnitt angeboten und auch keine eier. störte uns aber nicht wirklich. die zimmer sind modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. es gibt keinen kleiderschrank, aber ein regal mit garderobe. die sauberkeit der zimmer könnte besser sein. es war insgesamt sehr staubig und nicht ordentlich geputzt. auch die handtücher waren teilweise noch schmutzig. wir haben dies aber nicht am empfang reklamiert. insgesamt können wird das hotel empfehlen und würden es auch selbst wieder buchen.

Soggiorno dal 15 al 18 ottobre 2009

Conoscevo già l'albergo per avervi soggiornato circa 2 anni fa. a parte le mie esigenze personali lo trovo comunque molto comodo per raggiungere il centro di londra (preferibilemnte dalla stazione east croydon dove ci sono treni ogni 5 minuti x london victoria). nelle immediate vicinanze c'è una zona pedonale con vari centri commerciali per acquisti di ogni genere. la sera è un pochino più problematico x individuare locali dove mangiare.

Ganz ok und super preis/leistungsverhältnis für einen kurztrip

Gute anbindung trotz 10 km-entfernung zum zentrum. frühstück einfach und schlicht, aber mit frischem obst und kaffeevollautomat.

Wonderful hotel

This hotel has to be the best hotel have stayed in so far, it was a wonderful hotel, the staffs were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, the equipments were in very good condition.everything was perfect, lots of clubs and restaraunts around the hotel, which makes it a great location.
