The hotel was built in 1988 and renovated in 2004. It consists of a wonderful garden and a 4 storey building with a total of 242 rooms, of which 14 are singles, 222 are doubles and 6 are suites. We stayed at this 4 star hotel in december 2016 and had a fantastic holiday at la geria. our room was on the fourth floor and had a view of the sea, through the palm trees and looked directly onto the pool area. we opted for half board and the food was great, with so much choice for both breakfast and dinner. staff were wonderful, could not do enough for you and no request was a bother. the room was lovely and the bathroom a good size, with excellent daily cleaning. the wifi is free around the reception area, but payment is required if you want it in your bedroom. from what i heard from some other guests, the wifi was not great, in your room, but we did not bother with it in our room - the view was too good to miss, and we took every opportunity to sit on our balcony and take it all in! we have already recommended this hotel to our friends and will return as soon as possible.
