We had a lovely stay at the hilton glasgow. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, both before and during the stay. we stayed in an executive room, which was quite compact but had all of the amenities you would expect and great views of glasgow centre. the executive lounge was definitely worth the money and the service was very good. the leisure facilities were easy to access from the rooms and offered long open hours. it was very busy when we visited, which meant there was a lot of people trying to access the same areas. we are sure there would be quieter times to allow for greater relaxation. the location of the hotel was very good, but may not suit people who would rather avoid walking or getting taxi into the centre. there was always a taxi sitting outside the hotel and it was about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre.
