Now a 3* property

Im afraid that this 800+ bedroom "hotel" is no longer a hotel; it is a conference venue with accommodation. there is only 1 restaurant (with 130-ish covers) and 1 bar remaining. the bar is in the foyer and the restaurant is a buffet with zero ambience. you can have room service if you like, but then you are stuck in a small room which has not been aired or de-odorised for months...maybe years. it used to have a proper bar - with bar food but this is now a storage facility for tailors mannequins despite the fact that the live moving signs in the hotel still advertise its presence. no one seems to care about the place. there also used to be a lovely cocktail bar with a separate fine dining restaurant overlooking the lake and my wife and i used to go here on birthdays and other special occasions...but alas it is no longer. probably more storage space. the club floor lounge - wine or beer, no spirits. i didn't stay for my included breakfast nor did i even look in the lounge to see what was on offer for me for breakfast. its now a ghastly disorganised place with zero proper facilities. i would suggest that this is a 3* property that lacks leadership and insight into what paying guests expect - even if it is only a hilton.

Good location for exhibitors

Just next to nec so great for exhibitors, room is clean ish but could be better for the price. food in boulevard restaurant is great, had breakfast and dinner buffet there and both very enjoyable. not impressed with the food in millers though. for the room itself, not worth £112 a night.

Hilton nec

Standard hilton hotel, accomadation quality varies on whether you are given an updated room or not. food in boulavard restuarant is much improved on what was presented at last visit.

Perfect location . not hilton standard

Cannot be closer to the nec. everything one wants of a hotel is there ... but at a price . dinner was of a poor standard.it had all been precooked for ages, buffet style.drink prices more than just cheeky £7.10 for a single baileys ,£27 chea and some of the staff who were helpfulpest wine , 10% gratuity added to the bill which on enquiry i find does not all go to the staff! saved by the location and the price offered by hotels click . i would recommend it for its location

Nearly satisfied

I stayed at your hotel for a conference, during the first day there was a check in delay which was handled very well, the conceirge were fantastic, they were polite, thoughtful and helped enormously as i had an injured arm and a baby in a push chair. i was disappointed in reception on the friday evening as i waited 5 mins at the desk a few feet away from staff who ignored my presence i gave up waiting and left not resolving a leaky shower issue, which left the bathroom floor very slippery, i did inform the sat morning staff who were very efficient and helpful. another issue was the cleanliness of the room, i had my baby on the floor on a rug and she reached under the bed and i luckily looked and found a raisin under the bed as well as a feww crumbs, normally not an issue but dangerous if she had swallowed and choked on it. i found the spa staff very helpful and cheerful, i thoroughly enjoyed my spa and the rest of the hotel experience and used both coffee shop and resteraunt.
