I really enjoyed my stay at the heritage - it was a lovely, friendly hotel with a laid back but professional atmosphere. good rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast (available to midday) and good location. pool was a good feature for relaxing after a day sight seeing. all in all, good spot.

Had a lovely stay at heritage av liberdade in lisbon for my 40th birthday. co-incidentally i got room 40 which was pretty large, with nice big doors opening onto a small balcony. street was a little loud so doors which kept shut most of the time. no sound from the street, and good blinds kept out all the light. comfy bed, nice big bathroom, great location. the free tea and port were nice additions, and the breakfast was good too. it did include scrambled egg and bacon, so not just continental. would stay again if i go back to lisbon.

Just returned from heritage av liberdade, i booked this hotel after reading previous reviews and everything written in the comments was correct. i paid slightly extra for a deluxe room and it was very spacious including the bathroom. loved the styling of this hotel taking in the age of the building with a modern twist. all the staff were excellent and very helpful. the situation of this hotel is perfect for exploring lisbon .

Small, high quality boutique hotel with outstandingly friendly staff providing excellent service. stayed there for a long weekend feb 2013 with my wife and daughter. adjoining rooms sharing a private connecting lobby - very handy for a family as we could shut the lobby door and leave our room doors open. large, very clean and attractive bathrooms. small, smart and immaculately clean pool in the basement, together with typical very basic cv exercise equipment. stylish but very welcoming lounge with complementary, serve-yourself teas and local port/madeira. good breakfast buffet. excellent location for central lisbon and base for tourist sites. just a few hundred yards from metro, trams stops and taxi rank. highly recommended.

I spent some time researching hotels in lisbon and do not regret my final choice for a moment. it is a beautiful hotel in the best possible area for exploring lisbon. it is also 2 minuets from the metro. our room was beautifully presented with plenty of space. very large bathroom with molton brown products. shutters as well as curtains. despite being in such a good position on one of the most spectacular avenues it was very quiet. the bed very comfortable. the staff are very, very helpful and friendly. breakfast was excellent and all fresh and a coffee machine offering a very good choice of expresso and so on for you to help yourself. a beautifully restored herbal shop front has been fitted in the bar area offering a wide variety of loose leaf teas available all day at no charge. also at no charge throughout your stay port and sherry available in the bar. free internet available at all times.

Great hotel - liked everything! very helpful staff, lovely comfortable room, really delicious breakfasts which were available until 12.00! room was very comfortable, only criticism is that it could have been a little bigger, but we were in the middle of lisbon .

Nice hotel - breakfast was more than adequate although sometimes difficult to find a clean table to sit at. had 4 cups of coffee during our stay at a cost of almost 11 euros which i thought was a bit excessive when paying £176 per night for a room. very knowledgable reception staff although hotel manager was almost too impersonable - a smile would of been nice!!

We stayed here for one night on the 24th of march. it's a really good base for exploring lisbon. the staff are really very friendly and helpful. they upgraded us to a room at the front of the building, on the corner. it was spacious and clean with lovely views. the bathroom was also large with huge sash windows. the shower was a torrential downpour of warm water, the bed a large king size. we were provided with free parking, and a postcard to write which they would send free of charge to anywhere in the world! tea, coffee and port is complementary on the ground floor. we didn't eat in the hotel because we didn't have time so i cannot comment on the food. all in all i would say that this place is excellent value for money. i would definately stay here again.

This was a great hotel, the room was of a good standard with molten brown toiletris, the facilities were superb. breakfast was very good and available anytime between 7-midday. the hotel is in a central location with easy access to the whole of lisbon. airport buses stop outside.
