Brilliant stay.great location. our needs were accomodated with ease and always with a smile. room spacious, clean, great shower and plenty of toiletries including bedroom slippers. reception recommended excellent local restaurants. we shall return and tell our friends!!

Unfortunately first room allocated was very poor-noisy and cramped. the manager however was very helpful and changed room without any objection. second room 51 was fine. manager very helpful with luggage storage and local advice. location a bonus and price unbeatable for paris.would highly recommend with above reservations.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. room was tiny staff were rude and location was poor . i may have got a good discounted rate but that should not reflect in the service that we got

Spent two nights at the grand hotel francais and thoroughly enjoyed it. room very much on the small side but other than that no complaints. awesome shower. staff very friendly. nice location. pricing seemed about right (admittedly i think we got a discount off the usual rate - paid £96 a night)

This hotel has had some great reviews and we can see why. they have really tried to make this into a great hotel to stay at - almost everything you need is provided and with quality. the refurbishment has been done with style and imagination. if you accept you are in paris and the room will be small it provides an almost perfect short stay. recommended unreservedly. good non-tourist restaurants nearby is another plus.

Excellent value for money. staff very friendly and helpful. two minute stroll from metro. had a double room that was clean and blissful, quiet. shower was great. rooms can be a little on the small size, therefore not sure if its ideal hotel for families. continental breakfast downstairs in cellar room was fine,croissant, bread, ham, jam, coffee etc. only hotel in paris where even the cleaners are smiling.
