The hotel looked good but failed to meet expectations on many levels. the rooms are lovely, spacious and comfortable. the bathrooms are very good, modern and stylish. the reception again was very good and typical spanish 4 star. pretty but no atmosphere. the staff were good but had very little english and quite a lot of things were lost in translation. beware the spa is €15 per person per day extra so although we got an amazing price, the reason we booked was because of the spa, we didn't use the spa. then, once we had the breakfast it was all too much, we left a day early and went back to malaga. no tea and coffee making facilities in room, extra charge for parking, continuous piped music to dark corridors which permeates into the rooms 24/7. no english channels on the tv (not even world service), a very expensive bar and restaurant and not as close to granada as it makes out. it is a shame because it has the potential but definitely misses the 4 stars proudly displayed on the outside.
