Stayed five nights in gounod during easter -15. hotel is located in between beach and railway station. there's only short walk to old town. so location is perfect. hotel is old and the rooms need some refurbishment but places are kept clean. our room (504) had own balcony which was nice but there was no seaview just opposite buildings. the breakfast was sufficient including all necessary items but nothing special. the staff was friendly and helpful. i would recommend hotel gounod for a budget traveller who just needs b&b for affordable price.
