Lobby
The hotel has a Grand wooden stairway leading up from the medium sized lobby and traditional pieces of furniture and art throughout the public areas.
Exterior
The building is made up of four modernised, interconnecting patrician houses dating back to the 12th century. Therefore the exterior is very much the typical town house style of rothenburg, with its sloping tiled roofs, attic windows and flower boxes.
Rooms
Each room is individually, but traditionally furnished and has its own style and colour scheme. On average the rooms are medium sized and in very good condition. Some enjoy beautiful views over the Tauber valley. The bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
Restaurant
The hotel has two restaurants; breakfast is taken in a large room like a banqueting hall on the ground floor. It is traditionally furnished with antique furniture and old paintings on the walls. The hotel also has the best restaurant in Rothenburg, also on the ground floor and decorated in beautiful rustic, but elegant style.
