How to reach Freiburg im Breisgau

Freiburg can be reached by plane, thanks to the Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Frankfurt and Strasbourg international airports. The Freiburg railway station is along the Mannheim/Karlsruhe/Basel and Frankfurt-Main lines. The city can also be easily reached by car from the most important European cities. If you want to reach Freiburg by car you must take the A5 Karlsruhe-Basel highway, A81 Bodensee or the B31 motorway.
