Lobby
The lobby is of medium size. It is very elegant, with not too much decoration, providing a pleasant cool welcome when entering from the sometimes sweltering heat outside. It features a high ceiling, and there is a beautiful elegant staircase.
Exterior
The very first foundations go back as far as the year 350 to the times of the Templers, who established an outpost here. It was burnt practically to the grounds in 1307, and was reconstructed in 1936, with additions over the years in a neo provencal style with red tiled sloping roofs.
Rooms
The rooms are exquisitely furnished and decorated in elegant harmonious colours, using only the finest materials, in a Louis XV and Louis XVI style. The bathrooms are fully marbled.The rooms are medium to large, and rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
Restaurant
The elegant Michelin star restaurant, La Commandanterie; opens up to a large magnificient terrace, which offers wonderful views across the hills down to the sea front.
