We stayed at this hotel for two nights. all in all, it was as described and was a fine hotel to stay in. bear in mind that cuba is not the uk or usa so there are some things which reflect this but nonetheless it's clean, simple, easy and pleasant to stay there. i did however, find a massive, massive cockroach in the bathroom in the middle of the night which threw me a bit and also at breakfast in the morning there were flies all over the place although it appears that it is somewhat unavoidable, rather than a dirty hotel. we used the gym which was very hot but decent nonetheless and the staff at the hotel were very friendly. wifi is poor and only works intermittently and you have to pay for it. also, the location is in the business district. it's not too far from the airport but it is quite far from downtown and cabs can add up. you certainly cannot walk to town which is what we thought we may be able to do initially. it's at least 7-10k from town.
