We stayed at flemings deluxe hotel for 4 nights from 6-10 october, and found it to be ideally situated for visiting the city and surroundings. the hotel itself was excellent in its decor,cleanliness and quality of food at breakfast. our room had a glass-sided shower in the middle of the bedroom,which ,possibly ,may be embarrassing for some couples but,hey, after 51 years of marriage.....! we purchased a vienna card for 21.90 euros which was fantastic value as it gave you 72 hours of unlimited use of the trams,trains and buses in vienna. the number 2 tram passes immediately outside the hotel which interconnects with all the other forms of transport. we never saw any sunshine in the 5days,it was cloudy, rainy but we enjoyed every minute as there is so much to see and do in the area.
