This is a 3 star, first class category, hotel with modern facilities and an inside heated swimming pool on the basement floor (The Secret Lagoon pool is open from 8:00am to 9:30pm). Hotel felt unhygienic with unclean public areas, stairs etc bathroom had small patches of mound appearing on grouting. carpet in a state where i did not feel like walking bear foot. decor ok fit children but nothing exciting. highlight was the pool with slides that the kids enjoyed. 2 euros charge for pool towels which was reasonable. had to buy swimming trunks for sin for 9 euros as swimming shirts not allowed - some sort of legal requirement. breakfast was basic and very crowded.coffee was horrible but croissants and breads were nice. not enough staff at reception meant queues all the time. our room was connected to a another room with a bunk bed. unfortunately so was another room and the connecting doors were not locked so someone else walked into that room. had to ask receptionist to have room locked. i felt this was unsafe. view from room was of another hotel and skips full of hotel junk.
