We had spent 10 days touring all over cuba,, so were ready for a quiet, peaceful retreat from the hectic city. very green and leafy area by the almendares river. lovely room on the top floor ( room 511 ) with a balcony overlooking the forest and city lights of havana. the room was very pretty and comfortable , the breakfast was excelllent, the staff vey friendly and helpful, the pool next door at the associated club was great, and best of all, we could use the double decker hop on hop off tourist buses which stopped nearby the hotel to go into the city ( 15 mins)
