Not bad but...
Clearly a design led hotel but a little lacking in soul as a result. room design a little stark and with window facing other rooms it felt a little like a cell, maybe a bit harsh but could have done with a splash of colour. breakfast was a bit chaotic. tables for two which due to design and them being crammed together were not easy to get in and out of. was not offered coffee - had to ask twice. the breakfast itself was lovely though. the spa has opened in the days leading up to our stay. it has been done out nicely and we had fab treatments, however, if you have standard treatments (eg full body aromatherapy massage) you had to pay £20pp (after discount) to use the sauna and the steam room. the steam room could have done with a clean as there was dust, dirt and hair on the floor. bearing in mind this was at 10am in the morning this was probably from the day before.
