Don cesar is not a 5 stars resort
But it will charge hefty fees for everything. it is at best an upper glorified holiday inn with motel services. the only reason why i was able to enjoy some of my stay is because i am a super positive and optimistic person and i did not let the poor services get me down. to be fait though, after i complained to upper, upper management, the latter did try to rectify the situation so in that regard, don cesar did come through (unfortunately, a bit late as i had my foot practically out the door). st pete beach is beautiful but the town itself is very quiet, almost a sleepy, uneventful beach town with very little to do. i have mixed feelings about recommending anyone from going to this resort. i will likely try something else before i head back to this location. the staff working at the restaurant sea porch was super nice though.
