The hotel has a restaurant which serves traditional Austrian cuisine as well as Italian and Indian dishes. This is the perfect hotel if you are after a truly traditional Salzburg experience. Just returned from a long week-end to salzburg and found the der salzburger hof excellent value. the location is perfect being only five minutes walk from the train/bus station and a a ten minute stroll fro the mirabell gardens/old town of salzburg. the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable of the surrounding area. we enjoyed the breakfast, a selection of cheeses, meats, yogharts and bread of course. the best thing about it is the location and our room was very large and quiet. would recommend it to a friend as a great base for exploring.
