This was my 3rd time at the gellert. it was marvellous - the spa is always a decadent treat, the breakfast is set for a multitude of kings, we ordered yummy food and wine from the downstairs bars and we stayed in the nixon room overlooking the danube. the staff are very professional; so helpful and sweet. the decor of the gellert is something i have long admired - the slightly 'tired' (or well-loved) soviet kitch style tells a million stories, and is quite 80s, but it is in stark contrast with the the neo-baroque spa which it is famed for. i will always pay the gellert a visit when i am in budapest.
