Got to hotel was on 10th floor and the room was shocking it was small i upgrade to get better room but still a small room could not fit through the door in room coz they are so small only had breakfast on 1 of the stays coz the other day there was a gas leak in the area so could not have breakfast pictures do not go with the rooms on the website

Hotel is 3* which is not what we thought. reception area and staff were great, lovely piano bar and attentive waiters. we booked 2 double rooms, one was much larger than the other, the smaller one was tiny with a double bed pushed up against a wall, possibly the smallest hotel double room we have seen. having said all of this the price from hotelsclick made it good value, we would not have been happy if we would have paid the full rack price. great location right opposite hyde park and easy access into the city centre.

Good location on north side of hyde park, nice reception, bar & restaurant areas. most staff were very nice. you can't get a hot drink in the bar after 10.00pm. good choice of food for breakfast. the rooms are small and the bathroom is incredibly small - you have to have one leg in the shower in order to sit on the toilet! everywhere was very clean.

Enjoyed our third stay, room fine cleaned daily. my wife had a reunion on the 24/4 with five friends and asked for a table to be reserved by email the previous week, and at reception on arrival and the following day. this was promised, the name of the college being taken but on the wednesday nothing had been done. luckily my wife found a spare table and reception when told, had no knowledge of it! when we left the receptionist took my wife's email to respond to our complaint, this has not been done.

Thank you to hotelsclick for such a good deal. the hotel is directly across from hydepark and within yards of the tube station and bus stop. the check in service was fast and efficient and absolutely no problems with our booking. the service and choices at breakfast were excellent.

Well positioned hotel with good access to the tube (lancaster gate) and thereby only around 4 stops to gain entry to the theatre district. room was comfortable, well equipped and clean and therefore overall the hotel was excellent value for money.

I found this hotel on hotelsclick.com at a very attractive rate of £85.00 including breakfast for a double room for 1 night. the hotel is in a great part of london - right next to hyde park and about a 2 minute walk from lancaster gate station which is on the central line. the inside of the hotel was very clean and bright and the check-in process was easy - plus our room was ready at 12:00pm. the room itself was small and narrow but it had a comfortable double bed and tea/coffee facilities along with good quality tv - everything you need for a 1 or 2 night stay. the room was very clean! the bathroom was very small but for what you do in there it is plentiful. the shower had good pressure and good water temperature. the room did get a bit warm but the air conditioning unit is very effective and soon cools the room down. breakfast was included in our rate - we had to wait 5 minutes for a table but the selection of breakfast items was very good indeed. offering both hot and cold choices, meats, cheese, yogurts, fruit etc. very plentiful, warm and tasty. overall a very pleasant stay at the corus hyde park and i would thouroughly recommend it if you are looking for a 1 or 2 night stay close to the centre of london.

Great location across from kensington gardens and near west end and notting hill. stayed here a few years ago, now got live music, entertainment is great. food is good especially signature malaysian dish and rooms good. service lets this hotel down, the attitude of some of the bar and reception staff leaves a lot to be desired. couldn't fix lights fused until staff started at 9 in morning, for a 4* hotel in london not good enough. would never pay full price for this hotel!!

This is the third time we have stayed in the corus hotel, hyde park, and have never been disappointed. the rooms are plain but comfortable, the beds are fine, the bath is an excellent addition and the staff are helpful and friendly, making our most recent four day stay a really lovely time. hotelsclick.com also gave us an excellent deal on the price.

I stayed at the corus hotel with my 12 year old daughter for 3 nights...we had the double executive and i must say it was really nice...my room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and bedding were replaced each day...the staff were lovely and very helpful and my stay was very nice because of this...i will definatly be staying here again.

This is my forth stay at this hotel. we found the staff very good and helpfull the rooms are very clean but the bathroom are small. it is a great location.you can get the bus or tube just outside the hotel we got the bus to waterloo and the train to hampton court also you have hyde park on your doorstep

Considering we are talking london, then this hotel was pretty good for what we paid. although there were a few flaws which were very noticeable. our room was not ready on arrival even though we didnt arrive until mid afternoon- the receptionist however eventually offered us a ground floor room which was better than using the lift to get upto 6th floor. hot water tap in the small bathroom ran very slowly and took ages to get hot. pillows on the beds were'flat'- however the bed was clean and comfertable. smelly drains. continental breakfast was fine- not a great deal of choice however- only ham as the meat choice. toast was self service and took ages to pop up out of the toaster.room was cleaned promptly- hair on the bathroom wall was a mystery it was long and belonged neither to me or my mum who both have short hair and a different shade to that on the wall. we have stayed in this hotel in 2009, and it was pretty much the same as this time- minus the smells and slow water though.good location for hyde park which is literally straight across the road. will try somewhere else next time.

After spending a long time looking at various hotels near hyde park and oxford street for our weekend stay we decided that corus had an ideal location and excellent price with the resolve that we wouldn't spend too much time in the room if it turned out to be a disaster. after reading some very harsh reviews we were dreading our stay. i must say that we couldn't have been more pleased. our room (standard double) was a nice size and very comfortable after a long day travelling back from rome. the bathroom was a little cosy but was all that was needed for a shower and freshening up. we had a pretty view of the street lit up at night, an added bonus. the house keeping couldn't have been of a better standard. we will use this hotel every time we stay in london!

Read many reviews and it was with anticipation that we booked. however we need not have worried at all. the hotel is immaculately clean. staff couldnt be kinder. yes rooms are a tad small but we were hardly in it and the room was well designed and had everything you needed. the hotel is opposite hyde park which is a beautiful walk linking to green park and st james park. we booked continental breakfast and did not queue at all.

This hotel is great value for central london. a stroll over the road gives you a lovely walk around kensington gardens. this is a great area of london for tourists. we didn't eat in the restaurant but they have opera nights which look like good fun. lancaster tube is a short walk away.

Great location. short walk from paddington station. easy walk to the science, v&a and natural history museums. west end not too far. the room was better than average. clean and confortable. got up too late for breakfast. resturant looked good but had other plans made. would use the hotel again.

Great value hotel - from the minute you check-in and are greeted by the friendly staff.rooms small but everything you need is to hand and spotlessly clean - breakfast was continental but again more than adequate. we had a pre theatre dinner great value are £10 for 2 course and £15 for 3 course. all the staff are to be commeded. tube station is very close and we walked across the park to the royal albert hall to see an elton john concert....we will stay again in the future without question.highly recommended

Excellent location, friendly staff, air con in the bedrooms a godsend as i have been there twice on very hot days and nights. bar is quite small and limited although they were prepared to stay open as long as required. breakfast is typical of a large london hotel ie ok but nothing special and you have to wait in reception at busy times. main gripe - floor 5 is smoking which i didn't realise and it stank. overall though, good hotel in great location for the price.

had a weekend here in august. the twin rooms are slightly on the small side, but very clean and very modern. the position of the hotel (nearest tube 200 yards) is hard to beat and the staff very very helpful. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. we'll be here again.

This a great hotel idelly situated. just a 2 minute stroll to lanccater gate tube which takes you into the heart of the city. opposite lovely park land, meaning you can walk through to harrods and the museums in less than 20 minutes. diana memorial is just a 10 minute walk through the park and is very popular. the hotel is very comfortable with friendly knowledgeable staff. food is of a high standard. bar is reasonably priced. the rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of storage. would recommend to all for the price and location.

The hotel was very nice and clean, great location however was a long walk from oxford street so would not recommend it to elders or people who struggle on their feet. our room was nice but small considering the price, i have stayed at this hotel before in a twin room and got far more space then recently when i booked a double. all round the hotel was very nice, however would try somewhere else next time i visit london

Good value hotel close to hyde park in london. clean and comfortable although room not exactly spacious. comfortable beds with duvets, air conditioning and opening windows if desired. shower effective with reasonable quality towels available. staff pleasant, efficient and professional. upgraded from the continental breakfast on offer for £4.50pp to full english breakfast. this breakfast was however very mediocre and probably the only negative part of the stay.

Stayed at hotel for a leisure break saturday to monday. reception was very efficient and room ready despite arriving early. room was good, slightly dated. ideal location next to hyde park and also lancaster gate tube station. you can also walk from paddington station. continental breakfast was excellent and included in the price.

This was the second time i have used this hotel and it will not be the last. reception were polite and helpful as was the concierge. the rooms we had were the standard ones which although a little on the small size were very clean and tidy and far superior to those in many other london hotels i've used on business in the past. the location is good with hyde park right on the door step and lancaster gate underground a two or three minute walk away. overall very happy with the stay and would recommend to others.

We only stayed for the one night and didnt book in till late but was very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable we felt as soon as we walked in. the room wasn't the biggest but for a standard room was plenty big enough for us. hairdryer, iron and trouser press all of good standard and in good order. nice plasma screen on wall if wanted to watch tv. breakfast isnt the greatest continental breakfast we've ever had but there was plenty of it. maybe upgrade to full english next time.

I found the price booked with hotels click,.com to be the most competetitive avaialable easily booked. confirmation email and vouched arrived instantly. i've stayed at this hotel twice before so knew waht to expect. i like the location - directly opposite hyde park and a short walk into the city centre or quicker using the tube station about 400 yards away at lancaster gate. staff from arrival to leaving were superb - friendly and efficient. the hotel is clean, modern and big. it's a 3 star hotel deserving 4. only the bedrooms let it down being small for a single and having no drawer space at all. good english brekafast and food available. late bar.

Perfect location. off the central line and also easy access by bus if you choose to oxford street, regent street. breakfast was basic but sufficent. rooms were very small but remember it is a city hotel so you probably won't be spending much time in it.

Booked this hotel for a three night stay in mid september and was not disappointed. location was excellent with access to both tube and bus within 2 minutes walk and across the road from hyde park. hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant and bar were of a high standard. rooms were well appointed with a proper powerful hairdryer, loads of towels and a great shower. we had a double and a twin room and for some reason the double was smaller than the twin but this in no way detracted from the enjoyment of the facilities. it was also a real treat to get breakfast delivered to my room at no extra charge. top notch all round - thanks for a great stay.

A very short walk from the underground, this hotel is in a good central location in a fairly quiet ares (for london), opposite hyde park. very useful for moving on to heathrow airport via the tube. staff were friendly and helpful but only drawback was the room was not ready even by 4pm! the room was a good size, clean and with good decor. continental breakfast was adequate so you might want to splash out on a full english breakfast.

I stayed in the corus for 1 night for an event on the edgeware road. transport links were good with lancaster gate underground only 30 metres away. i was able to walk to & from edgeware road without any problems. the staff were helpful & efficient, speaking good english. in a single room which was immaculate with good facilities. would stay again, was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

An ideally located hotel right next to hyde park and close to the tube and oxford street. the hotel was well furnished and modern. the bedroom, for my wife and i, was however compact - well to be true it was small. the room must have been built around the bed (which for a double was also small).i don't know what the twin beddded rooms were like but they must have been bigger. would i stay again? unlikely.

The hotel was very convenient and near the tube station adnd within walking distance of paddington station. the public areas were very good, and although the bedrooms were very clean and well furnished, they were very small and excessively hot. we are staying again in july and look forward to our return. for central london the deal is excellent.

I recently went for a weekend holiday in london and im glad i chose the corus as the place to stay. the location of the hotel is excellent with hyde park, shops and the underground just minutes away. the staff of this hotel are first class, breakfast and resteraunt are also high quality. the rooms are small but suitable for short stays. they are also hot but there are fans to cool them down within minutes. mr sneddon

The hotel was very nice. clean etc but the only critisism i would have is that the rooms are very tiny. this was ok for us as we didnt really spend that much time in it but could definitely have done with more space. the hotel is quite well situated as just outside the busy bit, it was also nice to be so close to a park to stretch our legs.

We stayed in the corus in november and then returned in january for another weekend break. the hotel is excellent value for money and is very close to lancaster gate tube station which is in zone 1 on the central line so its very handy for getting to most places of interest. the hotel itself is very clean and the staff are helpful and polite. the only downside to this hotel is that rooms are not very big and there is limited wardrobe / hanging space so its not ideal if you are staying for a longer period or if you are like me and pack everything including the kitchen sink! all in all though, i was impressed and would definately return.

The hotel was in an excellent location close to lancaster gate tube & hyde park. the room was very very clean however very very small. staff where extremely helpful and we had to change rooms due to a faulty window. this was done with no questions asked and the staff very helpful. the only negative would be the breakfast, no toast and the selection is very poor. cheap ham and plastic covered cheese with no iced water and the orange juice was also warm. this did not spoil our enjoyment.
