This hotel is perfect for individuals from all markets looking for a good location. The hotel will be refurbished this winter. The works will start with the 4th floor on the 20 November 08 and will be finished by the 1 March 09. One floor will be completely shut down at a time. The noise will... Just got back from a 4-day trip with my wife to amsterdam. this was our first trip so wanted it to be special. the hotel is ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, but close enough for an easy journey into town. the hotel is great. the greeting on our arrival was just fantastic, and they even prepared our room early. the receptionist took us through what trams to take into town, the local 'must do's', and what trips were best to go on (they don't take any commission either). the room itself was quite basic, but clean and tidy. the bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on!! but, my only advice is that you should ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, as the road noise is quite intrusive at the front of the hotel. both my wife and i are heavy sleepers, but even we struggled to blot out the noise! overall, if you are after a good quality hotel, that has been recently refurbished, at a decent price - then you cannot get any better than this. we would certainly stay here again....
