We stayed just one night at the halkin hotel and chose this mainly for its position - we were attending a ball in belgrave square and wanted to be as close as possible - the halkin is just a minutes walk away. the hotel was great and booking through hotelsclick.com gave us a great deal - 40% below normal rate. we were offered a free welcome drink - and champagne was provided with no question. breakfast was excellent, and the club sandwich in the room was perfect. i think we probably had the smallest room at the hotel but it was more than adequate, and the bathroom was lovely.
