Wonderful hotel, the staff are laid back but so efficient and helpful. the met bar alone is a good reason to stay here. the rooms are spotless and well equippped, free wifi is another bonus. the only downside was breakfast. service was slow and erratic, and this is the first time we have had a burnt fried egg - how on earth does anyone manage to do that? stay here and you will love it, but book room only and wander down to fortnum and mason for twice the breakfast at half the price. for a real treat prebook an afternoon tea - tradition with a modern twist.
