Very helpful staff on reception - happy to print out a map for us to find an obscure location. good location - very close to the park with the south ken museums etc. within walking distance and easy access to tube and paddington station. room clean, warm and comfortable - bed was extremely good - with no excessive noise. only failing was the low shower over the bath. breakfast was ample and a good range of items available - we didn't try the cooked breakfast.

Stayed for one night on business. everything was fine. the room and bathroom were small but clean and quiet. staff were polite and efficient. would recommend.

Have stayed at the commodore in previous years and have always enjoyed our stay. staff on reception welcoming and even though we have had a standard room it is clean and tidy overlooking a quiet mews the cooked breakfast is very well priced as well. shall go again next year!

Very suprised as did not hold out much hope! room very small but cosy and had lovely balcony. would definately stay here next time i go to london. breakfast was continental but you can pay for english if you wish. bar area nice and cosy.

Nice clean, friendly hotel in excellent location, close to both lancaster gate tube and paddington station. hyde park just 2mins walk away. helpful staff happy to store luggage both before check-in (arrived early) and on check-out. my room was probably due a lick of paint but had everything you need (even had a terrace!). communal areas very well kept and all round cleanliness very good. would stay here again. good value

Generally an excellent hotel - room small and narrow - otherwise very well presented - enjoyed an excellent few days in london - would definitely stay again - food very good
