Overall we enjoyed a pleasant stay, the colombina enjoys an excellent location just to the right of st mark`s basilica. however light building works and a lack of hospitality marred my experience somewhat. rooms are tastefully decorated and there is a turndown service which is a nice touch. breakfast was good, there is no restaurant for evening meals therefore would recommend la zucca and la madonna in santa croce and rialto please reconfirm address details with the tourist board.
