This was my second visit to rome and my second stay at the waldorf. i like the quiet location, proximity to the cornelia metro station and the clean rooms and good breakfast. also, there are some good reasonably priced shops 2 minutes away with great shopping and eating and the area has a feel of the real rome away from the centre of the tourist areas. it is about 20mins by metro to the spanish steps or ten minutes to ottovia for st peters & the vatican. the recpetion staff weren't the most helpful(again)but the rest of the staff are very happy and ready to help. i will stay there again- i hope- and of course there is a great bicycle shop just around the corner. i don't think they have a family room- so i was told by the reception staff- which is a pity as i would like to go back with my wife and two children. good luck 7 enjoy your stay, dj.
