The City Inn hotel is situated in the same building of the 4 star Hotel Euler and overlooks the Basel station square. The problems of access to the central - outlined in other reviews i have seen of this hotel - continue. we were given a double room rather than the requested twin, but the staff on the desk at the euler could not have been more helpful, and we were given an additional single room at no extra cost. the rooms were very small, but well-appointed and comfortable. the breakfast was superb, and the hotel's location can't be bettered. it still represents very good value for money, and the free tram tickets are a bonus.
