I stayed at this hotel with my 20 year old daughter who is studying in italy. we both loved this hotel - in our room we had twin four poster beds and a lovely bathroom with a luxurious big bath - there is nothing like a good soak after walking and sight seeing all day. so the hotel was perfect for both a 55 year old and a 20 year old and i know my husband would have loved it too - so next time we are in florence (this was my 4th visit) this hotel will be top of our list. the breakfasts were also excellent, but do wish italian hotels served better coffee
