Castle hotel dublin

Hotel was comforatble, clean and breakfast was good and fresh(not a buffet kept warm). some staff were friendly and helpful. however we had a room facing the street and it was extremely noisy all night with traffic and people. it didnt help that the bathroom window fram had worn away over the years and left gaps (i think this would make it ciold in the winter). it didnt help as the bathroom door wouldnt remain closed from the bedroom side. also don't rely on the early morning wake up calls - ours didnt work. also breakfast is served from 8-10 so if you are on business or have to get up early dont rely on a full irish. the night porter will make you coffee and toast though!
