Super location across the road from a good pub. on the bus and tube routes. great cafe round the corner and amongst all the life of camden. the roundhouse is so close and is handy for gigs there.

This is ideal for a one night stop in camden town as near shops and camden market plus right next door to chalk farm underground, the room was clean though the bathroom door was a sliding one and kept getting stuck. it is very noisy part of camden but ok for a few hours kip and the outside and hallways are not very attractive but the room was clean and bed comfortable

Great place to stay if your going to the round house as it is opposite and really near chalk farm tube station. very basic room and facilities if i could choose how much i would pay per night it would be around £40 but as it is london so you can double the cost of everything.(god knows why?)

This was my 2cnd time staying at the camden lock hotel as i came down to london for the venues/bands. didn't bother with breakfast as the dinning room is almost int he reception everyone sat closely to each other which i didn't fancy. nice to have you own personal space. i got a double twin room which was nice and spacious and clean though got woke up at 10am by the maid wanting to clean our room when you don't have to check out until 11pm if your room is opposite the pub outside make sure in daytime your curtains are shut as, nosey neighboures stare in. we also didn't have a bin in our room, the person at reception was hardly there.. some of the guestes where nosey but a lot of them where foreighn touristes. my stay was delightful but i'd only stay their again for leisure .

Hotel is a bit of a dive, but cheap as chips and in a really good location. is slightly annoying having to leave your key at reception when leaving the building, but it is a 24 hour reception, which is definitely a positive.
