The major advantage of staying at this hotel is it's central location. just outside the front door is buchanan underground station. a few hundred yards away is the bus station, a large shopping precinct, the royal concert hall, a large cinema, pubs and restaurants.

Overall the hotel was ok. it looked tired and in need of some re-decoration and new carpets the guy on reception could do with being more welcoming. i was in a small room at the back with a grotty outlook and which hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner around the edges of the carpet, or a duster on the furniture in a long time i suspect. i even found a bit of broken glass on the carpet near to the bed. breakfast was very good and i would have liked to have returned to it later as a tearoom but had no opportunity. i didn't get chance to use the bar but it looked ok. for its convenience i would probably stay there again if in the area, but would only recommend it for that reason and to people who might not mind staying in a tired and less than clean hotel.

A wonderful,friendly hotel.the staff are friendly,smart and nothing is too much trouble,be it reception,restaurant or chambermaiding staff.the rooms are clean,fresh and tastefully decorated.this is the second visit to the buchanan and it certainly will not be the last!!
