The norbreck castle in blackpool is very overpriced at £105.25 per room per night. the only up-side to our stay was that the function we attended was at the venue! the rooms were small and somewhat tatty with a low standard of bathroom which would have been ripped apart by the lady on the hotel inspector programme! although the bedding was fresh and clean the mattress was obviously a very cheap one and not that comfortable. there was, however, plenty of hot water available at all times. the staff themselves were quite helpful and friendly. the hotel is basically in need of a renovation project and whilst the entrance foyer was passable the rest was a little disappointing to say the least.. the function room on the other hand was excellent for the occasion and drinks were a reasonable price.
