Hotel sarah

Stayed here 10th to 17th july with 2 friends each having our own rooms. rooms were kept very clean although basic. no hair dryer or tea making facilities so brought a travel kettle and milk from supermarket across the road. beds were rather uncomfortable and made a lot of noise and moving around. walls were also rather thin as listened to the people next door snoring all night so had to change the end of the bed that i slept. food was rather basic with runner beans and chips for breakfast left from the night before and food was always cold, even if you were the first to arrive in the restaurant. i mentioned to the restaurant manager one day that the chicken nuggets werent cooked and that was the last time he had eye contact with me all week. plates sat on tables for ages waiting to be collected. not enough staff. the restaurant was only open for a few hours a day and if you wanted anything outside this time, there was a fridge in reception with sandwiches and fruit available but nothing else. used supermarket across the road for snacks etc., no coffee/tea available before 08.00 before restaurant opened. entertainment was 2 evenings during our stay and they were not good. one was like a zumba class and the second was a lady and man, she had a really good voice but his was embarassing.
