Botel racek is a converted stationary boat in the middle of the river vltava, situated in podoli, southern prague. i've stayed there quite a few times as it's pretty cheap and has an excellent location directly opposite plavecky stadion which has two olympic size swimming pools and the hottest steam room in europe. the breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired, particularly the 'fruit juices' which i can only describe as little more than coloured water. the rooms are small but you get a nice view of the passing ducks and swans. very basic, but probably the best budget hotel in prague.
