I have used this hotel many times now. the staff are always helpful and friendly. wifi has now been fitted in all the rooms at no extra charge. if your on a budget this is a good place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at the botel albatros. the rooms are very comfortable & quaint. very clean, towels changed every day. good breakfast available.

The hotel is in a really great location. just a ten minute walk from the centre. the hotel is very basic but it was clean and for the money i didn't expect it to be that amazing anyway. the only critism i have of the hotel is that the shower isn't great and the staff aren't the friendliest people in the world. i would definitely stay there again and i would recommend this hotel if you don't mind basic facilities but want a great location.

Posh this hotel is not, but if you want a good,clean and good price hotel close to the centre of prague botel albatross offers a friendly and pleasurable stay at a very affordable price. the restaurant also offers a good selection of reasonable priced meals.

Excellent location for seeing the main tourist attractions. rooms, although on the small side, are comfortable. breakfasts could be more imaginitive, but bar and restaurant facilities are excellent, and staff are helpful.

We first stayed at the albatros about 18 months ago and have just been back for a second time. it's well placed for the old town with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and just misses the tourist crowds in the centre. rooms are small but clean and comfortable, and the public areas are well kept. the staff this time were mostly the same as last time but noticeably more cheerful - smiles all round and helpful - a great improvement. they also appear to be refurbishing at least some of the rooms - ours had a well finished bathroom with new fittings, and they were removing a pile of old toilets etc. from the boat while we were there so presumably ours wasn't the only one being done. we didn't regret going back to the botel and would certainly stay there if we visit prague again.

On the whole the accommodation was adequate. beds comfy and sheets and towels changed daily. breakfast basic but sufficient. the major disppointment was the state of the bathroom - it was in desparate need of refurbishing, and the shower didn't work. the general cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired and there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room and downstairs corridor. despite negative comments we enjoyed our stay.

In a very convenient location with an easy walk to either florenc or namestie republiky metro stations and nearby trams. walking into the cente of prague old town takes about 10 minutes. the river view is excellent. the cabins are small but comfortable. it became very apparent that this botel is used in the main by tour operators for one night stop offs in prague. there was nearly 100% change of peaople each morning for breakfast which was adequate for one night but became very boring after 2 weeks of over diluted orange squash, tea and coffee. apart from that it was a pleasant experience although we would not go there again.

Very well located...just behind the jewish quarter...so you can walk from there to the main sites. good price (we paid £86,25 for a double room for 3 nights...compared to london it is really not expensive)...a bit old fashioned but very clean...a bit disapointed by the breakfast (mainly by the very strange and chemical looking orange juice!). apart from that it is a central 'cheap' place to recommend!!!
