Had a great stay

We stayed at this hotel for a week and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. it was well located, and easy to get to from the airport. a coach from the airport to porto nuovo and a short walk from there. it was very close to some brilliant restaurants, our favourites were botego baretti and mon amour cucina & co and an excellent gelato shop called la romana. a carrefour express supermarket was located a 5-10 minute walk away. the breakfast offering was brilliant - lots of variety: pancakes, waffles, croissants, fruit, eggs, cheese, cold cuts of meat, bread, cakes, pies, yogurt, teas, coffee, juices. the service from the staff was impeccable. it was served til 10am on weekdays and 10.30 on weekends. we were offered an upgrade on the room when we arrived, and and opted to go for the "junior suite" - a really spacious room with a minibar, sofa, desk, huge bed and a well appointed bathroom. it was most definitely worth the the money. the room was cleaned daily and the housekeepers were very polite. there is a pool and roof terrace with sunbeds, sun umbrella and fresh towels, with a small pool. we spent everyday on the terrace, and there was no-one else up there so it was almost like having a private area! so relaxing. the only downsides we found were that the wifi was very slow and the air conditioning didn't seem work very well. even when turned up to full power, the room still felt quite hot.
