This is a typical airport hotel - nothing extraordinary but fine for an overnight stay before or after a flight. there is a half hour shuttle service (7 mins) to and from the airport (which is also the way to get to downtown amsterdam via the rail service (20 mins). the room - slightly small - was clean and comfortable - a little noisy from passing planes. most of the staff were friendly and approachable - with one exception. breakfast was ok - other food in the hotel was limited and not great. i was attending a conference in the hotel and clearly the hotel was not well geared up towards that kind of event - some customer service training would be useful for them.
