Discover Cotonou

Cotonou is the largest city and economic centre of Benin, although Porto-Novo is the capital. The city lies in the southeast of the country, between the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Nokoué. Cotonou is located on the coastal strip between Lake Nokoué and the Atlantic Ocean. The city of Cotonou features a tropical wet and dry climate, alternating with two rainy seasons (April – July and September – October) and two dry seasons.
