Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn possesses one of the few classical ballrooms still in existence in Vienna, providing a festive setting for an array of events including traditional balls, gala dinners and so much more. Nice room, though location a bit inconvenient
The hotel is somewhat faded, but the room was large by european standards and quite comfortable. the location has pluses and minuses: it is just by the schoenbrunn palace with its lovely gardens, but it is quite a distance from the city center, and not easy to get to from the airport or the train station by public transportation. the staff was quite helpful--they were able to find a telephone number for us, and gave us a fan on a very warm night.
