We booked a room at the parkroyal as we had a 6am flight the next morning. reception staff were welcoming and informative. very happy with our room, modern, clean and well appointed. dont know what cleaners use to clean, or whether it was some type of air freshener, but my husband and i both commented on how nice our room smelt! really fresh, without smelling like toilet cleaner. the bed was literally one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on, beautiful. we didnt need the block out blinds, but they were very effective. we had dinner in the restaurant, which we found was perhaps a little pricey, but in the end was worth it as our meals really were beautiful (salmon, & steak), with excellent service from the wait staff. overall very happy with the parkroyal & would stay again.
