Business stay in reno

One of the larger hotels of reno, about 3km outside of the center, where a lot of hotels and casinos are. nothing much around the atlantis. the peppermill is near, visited it once. it seems much more modern and larger even with a dance club. the atlantis is clean, nice, a lot of slot machines and other gambling, which i do not do. a fun arcade. it has a complimentary indoor and an outdoor pool on the 3rd floor, open 6:00 - 22:00, don't forget your bathing suite. the cheapest room in atlantis tower was large enough for me, 2 queen-size beds, bathroom with shower and complimentary products. a bit strange, they threw away the soap bar each day and gave me two new ones. why? complimentary coffee-maker in the room with lots of plastic waste if you try to make one. the windows were not tight, could hear the outside very loud. could also hear the loud neighbors through the door as if they were in my room. all in all, a good hotel for america. but would not visit reno if it was not for business.

Nice stay

This is a nice hotel, smaller some others which is good for some. nice crowd and the staff is very friendly. not nearly as luxurious as the peppermill which is gorgeous and where i've stayed in the past, and maybe a step behind the gsr but if the price is right when you look to book, its a good stay you wont be disappointed. has no night clubs or night spots just a few bars scatters around the casino but there is a live band on a stage overlooking part of the casino and a nice bar below that. i wish they would play the live music louder though. i would have to say this is more for the older crowd but there were many young people by the pool.

A nice getaway

We found a deal for the rooms on trip adviser. the costs were so low that i was concerned that once we got there something would be wrong. that did not happen. everything was perfect. i was traveling with my daughter and grandchildren so we requested adjoining rooms. the hotel accommodated us and we were very pleasantly surprised with our rooms. they were beautiful. we loved the indoor pool and the spa was one of the best i ever experienced. the arcade was a bit expensive but the games were up to date and all of them worked. we all had a great time, especially my grand kids.

Great hotel

I stayed here with my husband and elderly parents. we appreciated the clean rooms, smoke free environment and location away from the "skid row" atmosphere of downtown reno. using hotelsclick.com we paid $76/night per room. there wasn't a convention in town so therefore the lower price. we read the paper in the indoor pool area and enjoyed the mild temperature and shade. i would have loved to have my grandchildren along as they would have enjoyed the pool. our first night at the hotel we ate at the buffet. my 90 year old dad loved his prime rib, but we felt it was like cafeteria food. we were disappointed with the starbucks brand on site. it brewed starbucks, but the lackluster coffee tasted like water, we even got a free cup of another brewed, but no difference so we went a few miles away to get a good cup of coffee. if they advertise a brand, it should taste like it.
