Lovely stay at the arioso

This is a charming little hotel in a great location and near the cab rank/metro etc. the service was excellent from the first e-mail contact to the wave goodbye. we had the standard rooms which albeit small were very cosy, beautifully decorated and so very clean. however, in the centre of paris in boutique hotels rooms will not be usa sizes, you can't compare like for like. there is some road noise for street facing rooms but there are rooms facing the quiet courtyard. this didn't bother me, it's to be expected in the centre of paris and i like to be aware i'm in a buzzing city. the double glazing is very effective though as is the heating/air conditioning which is very quiet. there were some nice touches that other hotels in this catergory omit - towelling robe & slippers,good quality toiletries, mini-bar, large tv etc. a very comfy bed and pillows again i'm fed up with palmed off with cheap nasty pillows in 4 star hotels. the communal areas downstairs are very cute with a charming little courtyard garden. breakfast was very nice indeed and again service with a smile. all in all we had a superb stay at the arioso and will be using it as a regular stay in paris. no hesitation in recommending this hotel it's lovely. enjoy your stay.
