Fabulous stay

We stayed 2 nights and chose the hotel due to the great reviews i had read. we weren't disappointed. the welcome was warm and inviting and all staff were exceptionally helpful. the lounge was lovely and coffee was available as well as cakes in the afternoon. the rooms were well thought out with hairdryer, make-up/shaver mirror and plenty of room. the breakfast was exceptiomal, beautifully presented and the best i had in the whole of my trip. i have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and look forward to another visit in the not too distant future.

Excellent all the way

This is a wonderful guest house with service as good as any we have received and we have travelled extensively around the world. every member of staff could not do enough for us and be more helpful. breakfast was wonderful and the complimentary tea, coffee and cakes in the afternoon a lovely touch. we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in dublin.

Wonderful

This guesthouse (hotel?) is fantastic. very friendly and helful welcoming staff, fresh decor, comfortable rooms. the breakfast was second to none in a relaxing atmosphere. the most amazing thing as well is that if you use the dart, it is handier to the centre of dublin than most other hotels i can think of. the tea and scones and cake in the afternoon was a really lovely addition and surprise. we arrived early, and were treated to tea and scones, allowed to check in early. we only thought to drop our bags off, but this was excellent service.

Ariel house

We were pleasantly surprised to find that , while it is a bit of a rabbit warren as old houses so often are, it was comfortable, clean and bright. best of all was the breakfast - served in a conservatory style breakfast room with food and setting to equal an upmarket restaurant. the service altogether was most satisfactory and without a doubt, we would come back again!

Cant wait to go back.

My wife and i stayed here recently for a rod stewart concert at the rds, it is easily accessible form the city centre via the dart and is really close to the rds and in a lovely quiet area. however no matter what my next visit to dublin is for i will be staying here again. from the moment we entered until we left the staff were nothing but friendly, courteous and always had a smile for you. the room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. i could talk all day about how impressed i was with ariel house but i think you should pay it a visit and see for yourself.

Happy memories of a wonderful stay

Loved it, staff friendly and welcoming. sitting room has lovely big window with comfy sofas and nice antique furniture. relaxed and homely. breakfasts were so special and couldn't have been more delicious. quiet location though has train only minutes away and not too far to walk into centre of dublin if feeling more energetic. free parking another bonus. couldn't praise it more highly. would love to go again in the future.

Mother and daughter weekend

We arrived early and not only did the hotel look after our luggage in a secure room they provided us with coffee, tea and delicious cakes! our twin room was large (2 double beds) and spotlessly clean. our large bathroom had a bath with shower above and plenty of towels. the room was comfortably warm throughout our stay. the furniture was not new, nor modern but it was very adequate and clean. the breakfast was wonderful - such a variety and all freshly cooked (see the menu of the hotel's web site). all the staff were very friendly and helpful. it was a pleasure to stay here and i certainly shall recommend it to my friends and stay here again if in dublin .

Excellent in all aspects

This is truly a remarkable hotel. the owner and staff are top drawer, nothing is too much trouble for them. the victorian decor lends itself to atmosphere and elegance.
