Situated in an ideal location on a canal junction this hotel was immaculate and modern with easy access to town - sights, stations and airport. we were given a free upgrade to an executive room - beautiful, modern bathroom, one the the comfiest beds ever slept in, flat screen tv with computer access if required however extra charges would apply. free wifi was handy. breakfast was idyllic - views over the canal and boat moorings with a good choice of continental, cooked foods and fruits etc. the bar area was light and cosy with sofas and a fire - blissful after a days sightseeing. the staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. travelling around town was easy - tram 5 ran every 10 minutes or so from the end of the road and bikes can be hired from either the hotel or from a hire company in town. diverse in sights to see amsetrdam and this hotel cater for all. brilliant.
