We have stayed at the amalia on three occasions and have enjoyed each stay. the hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful. the location is also great for accessing the metro and many of rome's sights (5min walk to st peters, 20 to piazza navona, 2 mins to metro)

Location of the hotel was excellent,very close to the vatican, shops and subway, the reception staff were very friendly.the rooms though were a bit tired in need of decoration, the breakfast buffet was poor, particularly on the sunday with virtually nothing left by 9.15am. the price we paid for the rooms in this location though probably compensated somewhat for the other shortfalls.

This hotel is very good value for money. located in a good part of the city, you are away from busy crowds and nightlife but only a 5 minute walk from the vatican. other major tourist attractions such as the trevi fountain, pantheon e.t.c are only about 10-20 minutes away - if you cross the right bridge! the rooms are comfortable and nicely sized. the main receptions, stairs e.t.c can be a bit shabby. breakfast may not appeal to everyone as it was very sweet but it was adequate. most hotel staff are also very kind, friendly and welcoming. overall, a very good hotel.
